A student has been injured in an assault at a rural Canterbury school.
Police and paramedics were called to Oxford Area School following reports a student had been attacked by another student at 2pm on Wednesday.
The student was taken to Christchurch Hospital in a moderate condition.
RNZ has approached Oxford Area School for comment.
